This not for profit, community owned Company, recently established, will source funding and investments for projects and initiatives that will support both the local people and make positive changes that will help rejuvenate Jaywick Sands.

Managed by the community for the community and with a Board of Directors who volunteer their time, this CIC is now offering a 6 month contract to support the running of this new organisation.

The successful candidate will be self-managing reporting to the Chair of the CiC and the Board, and key tasks will include;

Maintaining an overview of the Company’s finances, keeping accurate records of debits and credits.

Researching sources of funding and contribute to writing applications and bids as identified.

Providing administration support for meetings, including agendas, the circulation of minutes etc.

Completing ad hoc tasks as requested and as appropriate to the role.

The successful candidate must have access to a computer with good internet links.  Experience of Microsoft packages and good verbal and written communication skills are also required.

This contract is for 10 hours per week at £10 per hour.  The Company is very keen to employ from within the Community and are happy to consider a job share.
